July 26th, 2009 | Steff, grymm and frostbitten lands
Hails all from an internet cafe in Austria, where nothing is as it seems. The Z is where the Y should be and I totallz have no idea where the backslash is!
We have been having an amaying time! We landed in Hamburg safe and sound and went into town to see Miniatuar Wunderland, the largest model railway in the world! I brought a new shirt and we took an elevator 75m up a burned out church spire. We found the local bogan shop and talking to an old lady about how she once got offered a blow job.
We then drove down to Switzerland, stayed the night at an AMAZING campground on a lake, went for a swim, visited Litchenstein, drove over the Swiss Alps in a CAMPERVAN in the middle of a cyce tour – for added kreig value, and drove straight out of Italy after eating some killer pizza.
We have been exploring Innsburg in Austria for the last day – this morning we took the train to a tiny town called SeeFeld and have been wandering around getting in the way of the local parade.
Tomorrow, after visiting another medieval castle and a model train shop (CDH is obsessed!) we are on the road to Hamburg again, for WACKEN!!!!
To tide you over till then, here is a great photo of me taken at Wacken, PRE influx of 70 000 metalheads. Its a beautiful town.

Wacken cemetery- pre metalheads!
